Infrastructure Engineer (Openshift)

Working hours: Mon-Fri, Office hours
Location: Punggol
Job Type: Contract (Renewable basis)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and automate the lifecycle of OpenShift clusters, treating infrastructure as code
• Develop automation for cluster provisioning, upgrades, and scaling using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Python
• Implement and manage core OpenShift components including OVN-Kubernetes networking and OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF)
• Enhance platform reliability, scalability, and performance to ensure high availability
• Implement GitOps workflows for cluster configuration and deployment management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support secure and efficient cloud operations

Requirements

• Min. 4 years of relevant experience in platform engineering / cloud / DevOps
• Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Bash and/or Python)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Understanding of container networking (SDN, OVN) and storage (Ceph/ODF)
• Familiarity with GitOps practices and tools
