ICT Project Officer

Join a dynamic team responsible for implementing and maintaining critical ICT security infrastructure that supports essential public safety and operational systems. This role plays a key part in delivering secure, reliable, and scalable cybersecurity solutions across multiple stakeholders and agencies.

You will be involved in end-to-end project delivery, ensuring systems are implemented effectively while meeting governance, risk, and compliance requirements.

Salary Package: Up to $5500 (basic) + AWS

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the delivery, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise ICT and cybersecurity systems
• Drive end-to-end project execution, including requirements gathering, system design, documentation, risk assessment, and audit management
• Translate operational needs into business cases and technical specifications, and recommend suitable solutions
• Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and proactively resolve technical and non-technical issues
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external agencies, vendors, and industry partners to ensure successful project delivery
• Ensure compliance with governance, risk, audit, and service level requirements throughout the project lifecycle
• Troubleshoot system issues, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend effective solutions
• Support procurement activities, including evaluation of proposals in accordance with standard procedures
• Provide cybersecurity support across various initiatives and projects as required

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in ICT project management or system implementation
• Strong project management, vendor management, and contract management skills
• Proven experience in risk management, change management, and system operations
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have

• Experience working in public sector or large-scale enterprise environments
• Prior involvement in cybersecurity systems or infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with governance, audit, and compliance processes
• Strong interest in emerging technologies and cybersecurity innovation
