*Govt* Communications & Branding (Engineering & Technology) [West / 1-year]

We are seeking Assistant Manager/Senior Assistant Manager to support multi-platform storytelling across print, web, and social media.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Communications & Branding to produce engaging content that highlights research, students, and impact stories.
This role blends science writing, digital content creation, and basic web management — ideal for someone who enjoys writing about innovation as much as crafting clean, user-friendly web pages or data-driven social posts.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Editorial & Storytelling

• Research, draft, and edit stories for web, magazine, and social platforms, highlighting students, alumni, and research breakthroughs.
• Assist in developing newsletters, press releases, and features with consistent tone and accuracy.

2. Digital & Social Media

• Produce content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.
• Draft engaging captions, manage content calendars, and track analytics for social performance.
• Support photo/video shoots and basic editing (CapCut, Adobe products, or Canva).
• Assist in crafting data-driven recommendations for content strategy improvements.

3. Website & Digital Experience

• Participate in website updates and maintenance.
• Optimise page layouts for clarity, SEO, and accessibility; ensure mobile responsiveness and editorial accuracy.
• Apply UI/UX best practices to improve navigation and content readability.
• Audit and tag content for searchability and analytics tracking.

4. Analytics & Reporting

• Track and interpret performance metrics using Google Analytics, Meta Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, and UTM parameters.

5. Strategic Support & Process Improvement

• Contribute to reviewing and streamlining processes to enhance efficiency.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and briefing materials for committees and leadership.
• Maintain comprehensive databases and management information systems for communications organisation.
• Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives related to communications.

Job Requirements:

• Singaporean only.
• Must possess at least Degree, preferably in engineering, journalism or a related field.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex technical content into clear, engaging language
