Project Officer – ICT Operations

• Working Hours: Mon-Fri (Hybrid)
• Location: Central
• Remuneration: Up to $6,000 + AWS

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Officer (PO) to support the successful delivery of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) projects. The selected candidate will work closely with the Project Manager (PM) in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to ensure that project objectives are met efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Management

• Assist the Project Manager in ensuring timely delivery of project milestones
• Coordinate and schedule project meetings
• Prepare and distribute progress reports and project documentation
• Support the identification and tracking of project risks and issues
• Assist in implementing project changes
• Support delivery planning activities for assigned projects

Team Management

• Participate in team development and engagement initiatives
• Assist in identifying roadblocks and proposing solutions
• Support efforts to improve team capacity and efficiency
• Contribute to a collaborative and productive team environment

Stakeholder and Communication Support

• Assist in stakeholder management and communications
• Support project governance and reporting processes

Process and Operational Support

• Provide support in project-related procurement and security processes
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives and documentation of best practices

Team Engagement and Contribution

• Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration
• Actively engage in projects and contribute to their success
• Maintain high standards of quality in all deliverables

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in a project coordination or support role
• Familiarity with Agile project environments is preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks across concurrent projects
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and a strong team player
