We are seeking a skilled and motivated developer to join our dynamic team in the development, construction, and testing of IoT backend services using microservice and serverless architectures. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with other developers to meet stakeholder requirements for an IoT system leveraging AWS Cloud. This is an exciting opportunity to work on multiple projects that will significantly impact interests in IoT usage for facilities management and environment monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Microservices Development: Design, develop, and deploy microservices within Docker containers.
• Serverless Architecture Development: Implement serverless solutions using AWS services.
• Automation and Monitoring: Develop automation scripts and monitoring tools within the cloud infrastructure.
• Cloud Application Development: Utilize DevOps methodologies to develop cloud applications.
• API Migration: Implement API migration using Java, Python, and NodeJS.
• Technical Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation and user guides.

Required Skills and Experience:

• AWS Expertise: Proficient in AWS development, with a preference for experience with AWS IoT Core.
• Programming Languages: Proficiency in Java, NodeJS, Python, and Linux shell scripting.
• API Testing and Documentation: Experienced with Swagger and Postman for API testing and documentation.
• Version Control: Skilled in using GitLab with CI/CD pipelines.
• Database Management: Experience with DynamoDB, MongoDB, and Postgres.
• Frameworks: Knowledgeable in ReactJS and Spring Boot.
• Build Tools: Competence with Maven and NPM.
• Text Editors: Familiarity with IntelliJ IDEA and VS Code.
• Unit Testing: Proficiency in using JUnit for unit testing.
• Containerization: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and deployment.
