This position will define how HP shapes the future of the PC category as the AI era accelerates—turning innovation into scale, partnerships into revenue, and ecosystems into competitive advantage.
Role Purpose
The Lead of AI Strategy & Partnerships is a senior strategic leadership role responsible for driving HP’s AI agenda across Greater Asia, accelerating the adoption of AI PCs, and shaping future revenue engines in collaboration with our ecosystem of technology and business partners. The role will own and scale HP Garage 2.0, HP’s flagship AI innovation and ecosystem development platform in Singapore, built in partnership with EDB Singapore, in service of positioning HP as a critical catalyst in the region’s AI transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership on AI & Ecosystem
Define and execute the regional AI strategy aligned with global priorities, ensuring Greater Asia leads AI PC category growth.
Act as internal AI champion, enabling cross-functional teams (Sales, Category, Marketing, Customer Support) to adopt and integrate AI-driven initiatives.
Lead regional initiatives to accelerate AI PC adoption, building business insights, use cases, and value propositions for priority industry segments.
2. HP Garage 2.0 Leadership
Serve as Project owner of HP Garage 2.0, responsible for vision, strategy, and operational scaling of the platform.
Drive collaboration across ecosystem with Alliance partners, EDB Singapore, government bodies, Start Ups, cloud Partners and innovation ecosystem players to position HP as a strategic partner in strengthening the Singapore and Greater Asia AI ecosystem.
Build and implement a new revenue model leveraging HP Garage 2.0 services, partner monetization, and IP co-creation.
Enable HP Partners to be ready to adopt & sell solutions with AI PC + AI Solution to grow, create differentiator by working with channel team.
3. Partnerships & Alliances
Establish and expand strategic partnerships with:
Develop co-innovation and go-to-market programs to create demand for AI PCs and HP’s commercial solutions.
4. Governance & Execution Excellence
Track performance analytics, program ROI, and reporting for GBU and regional leadership.
Lead 3 specialist contract roles:
Program Manager – HP Garage 2.0
Oversees program delivery, KPIs, and operations of the cohort structure.
Community Manager – HP Garage 2.0
Manages startup engagement, events, and ecosystem growth.
Technology Evangelist – AI Solutions
Validates solutions on HP platforms and evangelizes AI PC capabilities.
5. AI Education & Internal Adoption
Team Publishes a monthly AI@HP Newsletter, summarizing market developments (e.g., Google I/O, Microsoft Build), internal milestones, and use cases.
Hosts “AI Demo Days” – recurring innovation sessions inviting emerging AI startups to showcase relevant tools and platforms to HP teams.
Sandboxes :Identifies internal business challenges across Marketing, SMB, Legal, Government Affairs, etc., and matches them with relevant AI solution providers.
6.Cross-Functional Collaboration – Category, Marketing, PR, Sales, GBU, Channel, Legal, govt affairs
7. Key Performance Indicators
Required Skills & Experience
15–20+ years in technology business leadership roles (PC, ISVs, Cloud, AI, or ecosystem strategy)
