JOB SUMMARY

As a Front Office Intern at Raffles Sentosa Singapore, you will be part of the heart of the guest journey, supporting the Front Office/ Butler team in delivering gracious, personalised and intuitive service that reflects the legendary Raffles brand.

This internship offers hands-on exposure to luxury hospitality operations, where you will learn how to create memorable first and last impressions while supporting daily front desk, guest services and lobby operations.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times, following Raffles Brand Standards of Performance.

  • Assist with guest arrival and departure experiences including check-ins, check-outs and room escort coordination.

  • Support the Front Office / Butler team in handling guest requests, enquiries and service follow-ups promptly and accurately.

  • Learn and assist in operating the Property Management System (PMS) and related systems under supervision.

  • Coordinate with Housekeeping, Butler Services, Engineering and other departments to ensure smooth room readiness and guest stay experience.

  • Support lobby hosting duties, ensuring guests are acknowledged and assisted warmly.

  • Assist in handling guest feedback and service recovery actions under guidance of supervisors.

  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel data at all times.

  • Ensure the Front Office and lobby areas are well presented and reflect the luxury standards of Raffles.

  • Participate in daily briefings and training sessions to develop operational knowledge and service skills.

  • Comply with hotel policies, procedures, grooming standards and health & safety regulations.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Hospitality, Tourism, Hotel Management or related field.

  • Passion for luxury hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.

  • Service-oriented personality with a warm, gracious and professional demeanor.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work in a team environment.

  • Ability to remain calm and service-focused in a fast-paced environment.

  • Well-groomed with strong attention to detail.

  • Basic computer skills; familiarity with hotel systems is an advantage but not required.

  • Able to commit to shift work, including weekends and public holidays.
