Finance Executive

Job Summary

The Finance Executive is responsible for handling day-to-day finance operations, including GST submission, accrual list , prepayment and fixed asset, balance sheet  schedules , financial reporting, B/S reconciliations, and supporting month-end and year-end closing. The role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts & Operations

• Handle Accrual, GST , Prepayment and fixed assets schedules
• To Assist the operation team related to finance matters
• General Cashier and Cash machine matters
• Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions

Financial Reporting & Closing

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and provisions
• Perform bank, vendor, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support preparation of financial reports and schedules

Budgeting & Cost Control

• Monitor expenses against budget and highlight variances
• Assist in budget preparation and forecasting
• Support cost control initiatives and expense analysis

Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls
• Prepare supporting documents for internal and external audits

System & Process Support

• Maintain accurate records in accounting systems
• Assist in improving finance processes and documentation
• Support ad-hoc finance tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–5 years of relevant working experience
• Knowledge of accounting principles and finance operations
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills (Optional)

• Experience with futurelog or subsystems accounting software
• Knowledge of GST / tax regulations (if applicable)
• Experience in hospitality or service industry (if relevant)
