Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Engineer Drafter to support office renovation projects from design to approval. The role includes electrical load calculations, preparation of single line diagrams, and coordination with the Project Manager to ensure submissions meet building management and regulatory requirements before renovation works commence.

The ideal candidate has a good understanding of commercial office electrical systems and can manage multiple renovation projects efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Calculate electrical power requirements and load demand for office renovation projects

• Design and prepare electrical layouts and single line diagrams (SLDs)

• Ensure electrical designs comply with local codes, standards, and building management requirements

• Provide complete electrical documentation for submission and approval prior to renovation works

• Coordinate closely with the Project Manager, architects, and other consultants

• Review existing electrical systems and propose upgrades or modifications as required

• Support project teams during design revisions and authority comments

• Maintain accurate project documentation and records
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering

• Experience in commercial or office fit-out/renovation projects

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software

• Strong understanding of electrical load calculations and power distribution systems

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
