Reporting to the Managing Director, the Director, Sales & Marketing leads and oversees global sales and marketing strategies for TAFMER Business Division. This role is responsible for planning, directing, and controlling worldwide sales and marketing
activities in collaboration with multiple regional offices to achieve and exceed sales volume/revenue, and consolidated operating profit targets.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate global sales and marketing activities across multiple regional offices to ensure alignment with overall business strategy and financial targets.
- Develop mid-term plans, annual budgets, and action plans; ensure disciplined execution across regions.
- Analyze global market environments, applications, raw material trends, and competitive landscapes to establish effective sales targets and pricing strategies.
- Direct monthly and quarterly sales volume and pricing control to achieve consolidated operating profit objectives across entities and manufacturing locations.
- Formulate and implement sales and marketing policies, parameters, and action plans to address both strategic and operational business issues.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including production, supply chain, finance, and business planning to resolve issues impacting sales performance and
profitability.
- Build, influence, and strengthen long-term relationships with global key accounts, including periodic visits for strategy discussions and information sharing.
- Conduct regular sales reviews and communicate timely, accurate business updates to senior management to support effective decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Chemical Sciences with minimum 15 years of relevant experience in global sales and marketing.
- Sound knowledge of POE products, sales management, marketing, finance, and logistics.
- Proven experience leading geographically dispersed teams and managing complex, multi-entity profit and budget
- Strong strategic, analytical, and commercial acumen with the ability to translate
strategy into executable plans
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures and regions.
- Highly motivated, independent, and adaptable, with the ability to perform in a dynamic global business environment.
- Japanese language proficiency is required for liaising with customers and counterparts in Japan.
