About the Role
We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen and enhance cloud security posture across enterprise AWS environments. You will be responsible for implementing security best practices, monitoring threats, and ensuring compliance through AWS native security services, including AWS Security Hub. This role plays a key part in safeguarding cloud infrastructure and enabling secure digital transformation initiatives.

• Working Location: Central
• Salary Package: Up to $8.000 (basic) + AWS + VB

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud security controls across AWS environments
• Configure, manage, and optimise AWS Security Hub for centralised security monitoring and compliance checks
• Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and recommend remediation actions
• Implement security best practices across AWS services including IAM, GuardDuty, Config, and CloudTrail
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and security reviews for cloud workloads
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and governance frameworks
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
• Support security audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory requirements
• Automate security monitoring, detection, and remediation processes

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud security services, especially AWS Security Hub
• Experience with AWS security tools such as GuardDuty, IAM, AWS Config, CloudTrail, and Shield/WAF
• Understanding of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., CIS, NIST, ISO 27001)
• Experience in cloud risk assessment, vulnerability management, and incident response
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) is an advantage
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD security integration
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
