Business Data Analyst (Government Project)

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to perform advanced analytics on large-scale public health programmes. In this role, you will generate actionable insights that inform programme strategy, improve user engagement, and drive positive behaviour change at a population level. The position combines strong statistical expertise with business and domain understanding to support evidence-based decision-making.

• Salary Package: UP to $9,000 (basic) + AWS

What You’ll Do

• Analyse user engagement patterns and behaviour change across digital health platforms to identify key drivers of participation and sustained engagement
• Evaluate programme effectiveness using statistical techniques such as hypothesis testing, regression analysis, difference-in-differences, and clustering
• Conduct sub-group and segmentation analyses to identify target audiences and underserved segments, integrating data from multiple sources where relevant
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for programme design, marketing strategies, and policy decisions
• Develop compelling dashboards, visualisations, and presentations to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in business analytics or data analysis roles
• Analytics: Strong foundation in statistical analysis and data interpretation, including hypothesis testing, regression, and clustering
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL; experience with Python, Power BI, and MS Excel
• Business Acumen: Ability to connect data insights to business objectives and translate analysis into strategic recommendations
• Communication: Strong presentation and storytelling skills; able to clearly convey complex insights to diverse stakeholders
• Domain Knowledge (Advantage): Experience in health, fitness, behavioural analytics, or digital consumer platforms; familiarity with user engagement metrics, programme evaluation, and experimental design
