Backend Software Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join our team, contributing to a dynamic engineering environment by leveraging cloud technologies to improve platform performance, reliability, and overall user experience.

Working Hours: Mon-Fri, Office hours
Working Location: Central
Salary package: UP to $9500

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines. Ensure automation in the deployment process and minimize manual intervention.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline coding, testing, and deployment procedures. Ensure alignment between development and operations for seamless product delivery.
• Monitor system performance and ensure infrastructure security, identifying and resolving potential risks promptly.
• Automate routine infrastructure management and configuration tasks, reducing human error and enhancing efficiency.
• Work closely with development and operations teams to troubleshoot issues, ensuring system reliability and continuous availability.

Requirement:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Min 4 years of experience in software engineering or similar role, with exposure to Azure or other cloud technologies
• Strong skills in scripting, automation, and working with CI/CD pipelines in Agile environments
• Experience or exposure to JavaScript/TypeScript and backend development
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (e.g. TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, HTTP)
• Able to troubleshoot issues, work collaboratively, and adapt to changing technologies with a willingness to learn
