Backend Engineer (Devops/Node.js)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimise CI/CD pipelines to enable automated, efficient, and reliable deployments with minimal manual intervention.

• Partner closely with development teams to streamline coding, testing, and release processes, ensuring strong alignment between development and operations.

• Monitor system performance, maintain infrastructure security, and proactively identify and mitigate operational risks.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and routine operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.

• Troubleshoot system and deployment issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring high availability and service reliability.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a Software Engineering, DevOps, or related engineering role.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure or comparable cloud platforms.

• Strong scripting and automation capabilities (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.).

• Solid experience implementing CI/CD pipelines within Agile development environments.

• Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, and HTTP protocols.

• Experience with Node.js backend service development

Strong problem-solving skills with proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex implementation issues.
