Agronomist

At K+S Asia Pacific Pte Ltd., we are the sales unit of K+S for Asia-Pacific (APAC).  We enrich lives – with our products for agriculture, various industrial applications, food, feed, and pharma and over 50 years of experience in the region.

This role focuses on our agronomy technical advice and support to our customers in APAC.

The successful candidate should possess good agronomy technical knowledge and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1.   Agronomical support with focus on Potassium and Magnesium Fertilizers.

2.   Develop market and sales opportunities in the region.

3.   Market, product and competitor analysis – including pricing and product development.

4.   Support in product registration and secure regulatory compliance.

5.  Identify and implement strategic partnerships with Agriculture Universities, private R&D sector and other institutions.

Requirement:

1. Minimum Degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Nutrition, Soil Science or related majors is required.  Master of an Agriculture related program is preferred.

2.  Minimum 3 years of working experience in agricultural or horticultural sector and have some background experience in plantation crops.

3. Ability to travel for longer business trips within the region of APAC.

4. Basic knowledge in MS Office applications such as MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook.
